LGBT Chemists and Allies

A NOGLSTP Caucus of LGBT ACS Members and their Allies

Welcome to the LGBT Chemists and Allies Website

Who are we?
We are a coalition of American Chemical Society chemists who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or straight allies of l/g/b/t people. Many of us are also members of National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals (NOGLSTP), and our group is formally affiliated with NOGLSTP as a professional caucus. Many of us are members of the ACS Division of Professional Relations Subdivision for Gay and Transgender Chemists and Allies.

Why are we here?
We are here to professionally network among fellow chemists, and provide role models for l/g/b/t people interested in the chemical professions.

What do we do?
We get together at National and Regional ACS meetings.
We have an email discussion list.
We have a networking group on the ACS Network.
Summer 2010: We have an official home with the ACS: the Subdivision for Gay and Transgender Chemists and Allies.
